Open Arcade Brand
One mark, one voice, everywhere the arcade opens. This page is the brand source of truth and lives in the same tree as the site itself.
The lockup
The mark is a classic arcade joystick: a glossy red ball top and fire button on a black base, because every game here plays the second you click it. Dave delivered the final logo on Oct 28, 2026 and it is now the official mark: it sits in the site header and the favicon, and the full lockup (joystick over the navy Open Arcade wordmark) is the primary signature. The earlier red play badge was the placeholder and is retired.

The controller alone, no text, on a dark background. For dark pages, video end cards and social avatars. Download PNG
Icon, transparent
The joystick cut out, transparent background. This is the one in the header and the favicon. Drop it on anything. Download PNG

The controller on the brand red, for bold tiles, stickers and event graphics. Download PNG
Colors
Type
Roboto first, Arial as the fallback, tight negative tracking on the wordmark and page titles. It is the classic video site rhythm on purpose: visitors should feel at home in half a second.
Voice
We say
"Press play. It just loads." Short, warm, zero hype. Games are credited to their makers, always by name.

We never say
No "revolutionary", no "disrupting gaming", no fake player counts, no calling a bot game multiplayer. If a game is local 2 player, the badge says local 2 player.
Game covers
- Every game cover is a 16:9 WebP named
img/<game-id>.webpand hosted on this site. No hotlinking covers from other sites. - Covers show the real game whenever a screenshot exists. Generated art must match what the game actually looks like.
- A game only joins the arcade after its embed is verified: it must load and play inside the player frame. Portals that block framing do not get listed.
